Pleasant hotel serving a good range of real ales in the little village of Boot at the base of the Hardknott Pass. Nice beers, and the packed lunches work well too. There are good walks straight from the hotel door.This pub was last visited 17 April 2010 by Rich, Paul, Simon and Hamish
When last visited the pub was serving : Bitter , Cumberland and Landlord from the following breweries : Hawkshead , Jennings and Taylor
