Spacious 16th Century Inn with a very pleasant garden. You can see it from miles around, especially when falling off of Melbreak (local peak with precipitous route down, and a beer named after it). This is an excellent pub.This pub was last visited 19 April 2010 by Rich, Simon, Paul and Hamish
When last visited the pub was serving : Melbreak bitter and Grasmore Dark Ale from the following breweries : Cumbrian Legendary Ales
