Large welcoming pub, just down from Sizergh Castle. Has a few tables outside and clearly does a decent lunchtime trade, especially for food. Serves mostly Thwaites beers. A handly place to stop if getting off the M6 on the way to the depths of the Lake District.This pub was last visited 17 April 2010 by Rich, Simon, Paul and Hamish
