Any dominos game with scoring can "benefit" from bounceback.  This abberation was introduced into pubnight doms by Simon who claimed it was a West Indian tradition, or old charter or something.

The idea here is that you must hit the target score - typically 100 - precisely.  This, reminiscent of childhoods playing Snakes and Ladders (see Snakes and Ladders doms for another link) would be bad enough, but under bounceback, any additional points not used to reach the target are subtracted.

If this is as confusing to you as it is to anyone playing the game, here is an example - starting with 98 points

<tbody> </tbody>
You score Total score
1 99
2 100 - you win
3 99
4 98
5 97

Madness, it's all madness I say.
